Becoming a Registered Course Provider of Level 2 Certificate Risk Assessments
A registered course provider is an organisation registered with the BSC to deliver training leading to a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification.
Key Benefit
Allows organisations to deliver in-house training using learning materials supplied by the BSC and then book workplace-based assessments which lead to a nationally-recognised qualification.
How it Works
- Organisation registers with the BSC for a fee of £495 + VAT (BSC Members) and £595 + VAT (non-BSC Members) with an annual renewal fee of £100 + VAT.
- The BSC provides photocopiable student handouts, Powerpoint slides and lesson plans.
- Organisation prepares its candidates for the assessment (the course can be delivered in one day).
- Organisation books workplace-based assessments with the BSC. Assessment fee £30 per candidate (+VAT).
- Candidates complete structured workplace-based assessment task in their own time.
- Candidates submit assessment task to BSC awards for marking by an external examiner.
- The BSC issues results and qualification certificates within ten working days.
